Ringwood City Soccer Club is always on the lookout for volunteers!

We are a community club who are running with a small team of volunteer committee members and a small football operations team. We would LOVE some additional helpers to join our fabulous team and help build a stronger club.

Available roles include

Junior Boys Coordinator

RSCS are looking for a new Junior Boys Football Coordinator to coordinate the community boys teams, coaches, scheduling and pitch use. This role also sits within the Football Operations Team with Ben Jones (Seniors / NPL Coordinator) and Ryan McCann (Female Football Coordinator). If you would like to find out more or would like to nominate for this role, please contact Ben Jones or Rob Blyth. The club allocates a nominal payment for this role as it requires additional time to the other volunteer roles.

Communications

Are you a great communicator and willing to assist the committee throughout the year with the production of the club newsletters & social media posts. This is a flexible role which can work around your availability and requires approximately 1-3 hours per month.

Social committee

Do you love planning events or just getting people together for a casual catch up? We would love to start running social events again at the club with the easing of Covid-19 restrictions. From club BBQ’s to Trivia nights or Bogan Bingo. This would be great for a couple of friends to do together or to join to meet others at the club.

Grounds and facilities coordinator

Our grounds require ongoing attention including maintaining the goals & organising regular working bees for the gardens and grounds upkeep. This is a flexible role that can be done in your own time and would be approx. 1-2 hours per week. The committee will support promotion of working bees to ensure you’re not doing this on your own.

Bar support

The club is looking for volunteers who have their Responsible Serving of Alcohol Certificate to assist to run the bar at senior’s home games and social events. The club can help organise the training if you don’t have this certificate.

Other roles

If you have an idea of how you can help out in as a once off or in a specific role we would love to hear from you. Running a club takes a great deal of effort and more hands mean lighter work for all plus helps to build a stronger club and community.
