To provide a progressive environment that enables our players to reach their highest potential.
Mission Statement – Mini roos
Our aim is to develop skilful, technical, tactical, creative and confident footballers. To focus on individual and team development through fun and play.
Mission Statement – juniors
Our aim is to develop complete footballers with continued emphasis on improving technical and tactical capability. We introduce and work on physical preparation, including strength & conditioning, as well as positive mindset and representing the club.
It is the clubs aim to provide suitable coaching and development that will allow players to reach their potential each year and remain at the club for as long as possible. Acknowledging that development is a journey not a one season process.
At the end of the season existing players from U8’s to U16’s will be invited to re-join to play next season. The club aims to retain as many existing players as possible, it could be the case that the club retains an entire squad, if all players were deemed suitable.
Players will be released if they do not meet the required ability criteria, are not currently showing the potential to improve, there is a training attendance problem, there is a major player attitude problem or there is a major parent attitude problem or a squad size needs to be reduced.
Not only will the best performed players be retained but also players that show future potential to improve, commitment, good attitude and professionalism.
Existing Ringwood City B team players that are retained will not be required to attend trials to gain selection. Only new players, those B team players invited and current A team players need attend trials.
Players should only trial if they are serious about accepting a position at Ringwood City. Players should not trial for fun or for extra training.
All external players intending to trial must register online. Every player will receive an acknowledgment email within a few days.
All players must register to trial in their year of birth age group unless approved otherwise.
Successful and unsuccessful trial notification will only be made via email
Due to the large numbers of trial players it is not possible to give trial players feedback on trial performance.
