March 2021 Newsletter
Dear Ringwood City SC Member,
How fantastic to see our teams back on the pitch at Jubilee and Manson Reserve, with community teams training in preparation for the season ahead, and our seniors and NPL teams already in the swing of things with practice matches and competition. What a relief after what was a challenging 2020! There has been an enormous amount of work undertaken by the committee, Football Operations team, coaches, team managers and other club volunteers to set up for a fantastic year!
Check out the updated club information below:
Ringwood City SC Roles – Volunteers Needed
We are in urgent need of more volunteers as almost half of the roles are vacant, as you will see in the table below.
We are a large community club which is running with a small team of volunteer committee members and a small football operations team. We need additional helpers (especially representing our mini roos and female footballers) to join our fabulous team and keep our club running.
Check out available roles here and contact us if you can help!

We are planning to hold this at the club rooms but will continue to monitor the Covid-19 restrictions, alternatively a meeting will be held via zoom if required.
Vacant positions include:
- Vice President
- General Committee Member
Nominations accepted for the vacant positions up until 7pm, Thursday 18 March. Click here for more information.
Registration Update
All members registered for the 2021 season should have received an email outlining what their balance of fees is and how they can pay this. This has been an enormous process and we would like to thank all members for their patience as we work through registering more than 500 players and club volunteers!
Please note that the due date to finalise registrations is 30 March.
Some members have asked about the rollover of 2020 fees. As communicated by the Club in an email on 2 October 2020, the Club offered a partial refund of fees. A table is also included below for your reference.
If you did not receive an email on how to complete your registration or if you have questions about the registration process please contact our registrar, Ken Setiawan. If you have questions about fees, please contact our treasurer, Cheryl Raso. When you contact us, please include your child’s name and playing group as this will help us answer your questions.
Please note that we are both volunteers and we will respond to all emails as soon we can, but that may take a few days for us to reply. Thank you for your support.

Sponsorship Opportunity – We Need Your Support!
We are calling on members and friends of Ringwood City Soccer Club who are business owners to offer much needed financial support to keep our club sustainable.
As one of the biggest and most established community sports clubs in the eastern suburbs, Ringwood City has over 500 members and a growing social media following. The Ringwood City SC website is attracting around 35,000 hits per month (about 1400 unique visitors), which will offer your business great exposure.
Now that we are expanding into some of the highest levels in soccer through JBNPL and our Division 1 Senior Women’s team, being a sponsor at Ringwood City SC has never been more rewarding. We have a range of packages to choose from for your business to gain exposure for your brand & services.
As we are a local community not-for-profit sports club, our major source of revenue is generated from membership fees and sponsorship received from generous individuals & businesses. These funds are then reinvested into the club for the benefit of all members and our local community.
For 2021 season, we still have excellent opportunities to have your business proudly displayed on the front of our Senior Men’s team jerseys. For more information, please contact us.
Senior coaches’ profiles
RCSC is very lucky to have amazing coaches for our senior teams. Check out their profiles here.
Get Active Kids vouchers
Thousands of $200 vouchers will be up for grabs for sporting equipment, uniforms and memberships as part of the landmark Get Active Kids program. From 10am on Monday 1st March the first of up to 100,000 vouchers will be made available as part of the $21 million state government initiative. Community Sports minister Ros Spence said the vouchers would be available to families and sports clubs to help them recover from a tough 2020. Families can check their eligibility for the “Get Active vouchers” here. These vouchers can be used for the upcoming season.
Wishing all our members, supporters and sponsors a fantastic 2021 full of good health and happiness.
Best wishes,
