On Saturday September the mens teams played away at St Kevins in the final game of the 2009 Metropolitan League season. The second team finished their championship winning campaign with a 3-0 win. The first team clinched the championship with another 3-0 win to make it a perfect season for the men's sides, with goals from James van Gulik, Tokollo Frans and Rodrigo Varelo sending the Ringwood faithful into a frenzy.
On Sunday August 30 finished their creditable season with a 5-0 loss away at league powerhouse Box Hill Inter.
The senior mens teams have finished their championship winning 2009 season, and we now wait to see what 2010 will bring. The ladies team have completed their season with a final league placing of sixth.
