RINGWOOD CITY  FC –  1   MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY SC – 2 (HT 0-0 )

The scene was set for a big game ,the senior women had put in a big week on the track for their big Friday match , then came the rain , which is always a great leveller in any football match. Ringwood started brightly enough with Liv Bridgford and Bex Cox both having chances to get the first goal with a couple of narrow misses. RINGWOOD CITY FC – 3  SOUTH SPRINGVALE FC -0 (HT :1-0 )

This week we hosted South Springvale another club with a steep football tradition , with conditions overcast and the possibility of rain , the girls were keen to take advantage of the drier conditions .  Springvale kicked off and immediately gave up possession and Ringwood immediately charged their goal with Liv Bridgford  running at break neck speed striker Danni Shaw on hand to tap in her first and surely the quickest goal of the day (19 seconds) .
