Match Report: Ringwood City U11 Girls vs Asburton SC

The girls welcomed back Charlie on Sunday after being overseas for the last 4 games, her absence was felt. We also welcomed Emma to the team during this time; Emma has never played before but is proving to be one to watch having scored 4 goals already two of them on Sunday. Emma is also showing some great sportsman ship on the pitch as she could have easily scored more than two however she was passing on target to the other girls in front of the goals giving them the opportunity to score. Match Report: Ringwood City Senior Women’s Vs Melbourne University SC

RINGWOOD CITY  FC –  1   MELBOURNE UNIVERSITY SC – 2 (HT 0-0 )

The scene was set for a big game ,the senior women had put in a big week on the track for their big Friday match , then came the rain , which is always a great leveller in any football match. Ringwood started brightly enough with Liv Bridgford and Bex Cox both having chances to get the first goal with a couple of narrow misses. As the rain came down both sides began to create their fair share of chances , but neither side were able to break down some rock solid defending displayed by both sides . Read more »

Match Report: Ringwood City U15-16C Girls Vs South Springvale SC

RINGWOOD CITY FC – 3  SOUTH SPRINGVALE FC -0 (HT :1-0 )

This week we hosted South Springvale another club with a steep football tradition , with conditions overcast and the possibility of rain , the girls were keen to take advantage of the drier conditions .  Springvale kicked off and immediately gave up possession and Ringwood immediately charged their goal with Liv Bridgford  running at break neck speed striker Danni Shaw on hand to tap in her first and surely the quickest goal of the day (19 seconds) .
