Ringwood City Soccer Club is looking for girls aged 5 – 9 years old who are interested in learning and playing soccer in a Small-Sided Football (SSF) based program with the emphasis on enjoyment and friendship to join its 2012 ‘Mini Matildas’ program.
Small-Sided Football (SSF) is a modified version of football for boys and girls aged 5 – 11 introduced at the beginning of 2008 by the Football Federation Australia (FFA) as a nationwide junior development program. SSF is about children learning and experiencing football in a structured way which both meets their developmental needs and, above all, provides them with LOTS OF FUN.
Ringwood City currently fields teams in the U11 – U16 age groups and is hopeful of starting a senior women’s team within the next few years.
