How do I register with RCSC?

Registration is a two part process:

Deposits is paid through Try Booking from November each year. This secures your position for the following season. If you are offered a position in a team, deposits are not refundable.

Balance payments and FV registration must be done through Play Football which opens in March. See Registration page for full details.

Do you offer Payment Plans?

Only in absolutely exceptional circumstances will a payment plan be considered. Fees are announced in November to provide all of our players with 5 months notice before full fees are due to ensure all families are able to manage fee payments by the due dates. In accordance with Football Victoria (‘FV’) guidelines, no player can take the pitch without receipt of full payment.

I have multiple children, can I get a multi child discount?

RCSC is happy to offer families a multi child discount in the form of a refund (applies to siblings only and full fee paying players). Each child after the first (full paying) is eligible for $25 off their fees. Fees must be made in full and the $25 will be returned as a refund. Please complete the Multi Child Refund form to apply for your refund. Application for discount my be made by 30 April each year. No late requests will be accepted.

How do I pay?

Payments for both Deposits and Full payments must be made through the booking portals (Try Booking & My Football) with a credit card.

What is included in the fees?

  • Quality coaching and clear development pathways.
  • An inclusive environment – both competition and community style teams to cater to different abilities.
  • Registration with Football Federation Victoria and insurance fees.
  • Training & playing on our modern synthetic pitch, with availability of a second grass pitch
  • All players (U8 to U18) will receive their playing kit: Shirt, Shorts & Socks.
  • Use of training & playing equipment (balls, bibs, cones, goals etc)
  • End of season presentation day, KickOff to U11 players will receive a participation trophy.

How do I transfer to RCSC from another club?

Start of season – as this is a community club, no releases are required.

Already registered and active with another club, you will need to arrange for the current club to release you before RCSC will be able to accept you as a player. Alternatively FV may force the release after a period of time (approx. 7 days). Please ensure your RCSC Coach has accepted you as a player before requesting release. Once you have been released, you can register with RCSC. For transfer enquiries please Contact our Registrar.

How do I work out which age group I’m in?

Playing age is based on year of birth as of 1st of January.

e.g. ‘Under 10’ in 2018 will be birth year 2008.

In some cases children will play up an age category – this will be determined by the coaches during try outs and team selection.

When do I register?

Registration deposits are open from November for the following season. Please pay your deposit AFTER you have have been notified of a place in a team.

Is there space for new players?

Our team tryouts are conducted each year in;

Due to pitch restrictions we have a limited number of teams across all age groups. We endeavour to find a place for as many new players as we can, however once our teams are full we are unable to accept new players. New player positions are dependant on players from previous years not returning.

All new players are encouraged to participate in the November team selection. Visit our ‘News’ page for relevant dates.

What days do you play?

As a general rule

Kick off – Future Stars – Saturday morning, approx. one (1) gala day each month

Kickoff Boys – U11 – Saturday

Junior Boys – U12 – Saturday

Mini roo and Junior Girls – Sunday

Junior Boys U13 to U18 – Sundays

Senior Women – Home games Friday evening

Senior Men – Home games Saturday afternoon

When does the season start & finish?

FV determine when the season begins.

The main outdoor season generally starts in March (seniors) April (mini roos and juniors) and ends at the end of September. Future Stars – Kick off commence on the first junior game of the year. Refer FV Calendar for dates:

When does training commence?

Seniors and JBNPL pre-season training begins in late November.

Training for our MiniRoos & Junior teams begins in February.

When is Team Selection?

All Male teams Under 8 to Senior and Female teams Under 12’s to Senior are currently undertaking Team Selection Training.

Where do you play?

Our Home ground is Jubilee Park, Ringwood, however we also utilise JW Manson Reserve as a second pitch.

Our teams travel across Melbourne for away games. Please see your team fixture for more information about away game locations.

Where do you train?

Our teams train at:

Jubilee Park Reilly Street, Ringwood; and

JW Manson Reserve Selkirk Avenue, Wantirna

HIRING THE ROOM

How can I book the Wilhelmina Room?

RCSC Team – The Wilhelmina Room is available to teams for Coaching and Team Social functions and bookings can be made by the Coach or Team Manager. Please contact vicepresident@ringwoodcitysc.com.au

External request – Please contact vicepresident@ringwoodcitysc.com.au with regards to availability. There are limitations with regarding to the hiring of the Jubilee Park facilities, but where possible we will try and work with you.

VOLUNTEERING

Volunteering – Yes we need YOU!

Our club is run by dedicated volunteers, from the social committee and team managers through to coaches and the Board of management. We are always looking for more volunteers to help make our club great.
