Ringwood City Soccer Club is pleased to announce the appointment of the Senior Coach for 2012.
The club was pleased to receive seven applications for the role and as a result was able to develop a short list. This group was interviewed and then invited to present their ideas for the Senior Squad and the club.
The quality of applicant was excellent and the final decision was endorsed by the full Board after an interview process was conducted by a Board sub committee comprising:
President – Tim Townsend
Coach & Player Development Coordinator – Martin De Korte
Council & Club Relationships Coordinator – Lisa Hood
This groups decision was unanimous and we are pleased to welcome John Di Martino as the Ringwood City Senior Coach for 2012.
Each of the short listed applicants for the role were asked to develop a presentation that addressed what they were able to bring to Ringwood City and how they saw the role supporting the future development of the club in addition to their technical and coaching skills. Attached is a copy of John’s presentation that he developed to support the interview process.
We are also awaiting the outcome of our application to the FFV for promotion to Provisional 3. We hope to hear early next week and will post an update as soon as this is available.
Regards
Tim Townsend
President – Ringwood City Soccer Club
